The chest having a hinged lid clad in decorated copper repousse work, the front and sides having similar decoration, the inside having engraved strap hinges and a single lidded candle till. The base of the chest having three drawers with stud work decoration, the top, back and sides also having brass stud work. The sides having brass carrying handles and the chest is raised on turned bun
